Arjun Rampal injures hand, bleeds on stage after his entry through smashing glass at Next on Netflix event – Watch

Actor Arjun Rampal sustained multiple cuts on his hand while attempting a dramatic entry during Next on Netflix event on Monday evening. A viral video shows him walking through shattered glass, with blood dripping from his fingers.

Arjun was initially positioned behind a glass panel before stepping onto the stage to promote his upcoming show Rana Naidu 2 alongside Rana Daggubati and Venkatesh Daggubati.

Due to a technical glitch, the glass didn’t shatter properly, prompting Arjun to manually clear the shards, resulting in injuries to his fingers and forearm.

Despite his visible discomfort, the actor continued the on-stage interaction and posed for photos with media personnel. Social media users compared Arjun to Hollywood star Keanu Reeves, with one Instagram user commenting, “Keanu Reeves lite….”

Netflix unveiled the teaser for Rana Naidu 2 during the event. The high-octane series will see Arjun Rampal joining Rana and Venkatesh, with Surveen Chawla and Kriti Kharbanda also starring. Netflix shared the teaser with the caption, “Ab hogi todfod ki shuruvaat mamu, kyunki ye Rana Naidu ka style hai. Watch Rana Naidu Season 2, out in 2025, only on Netflix.”

The official release date for the series is yet to be announced.
